The IQ-LIFEPO is designed for today’s state-of-the-art LiFePO4 batteries with Battery Management Systems. The IQ-LIFEPO allows the DLS to deliver enough voltage to charge larger 4-cell batteries.

It also remains in a stand-by trickle mode and provides a BULK charge when necessary.

Charging Profile

The IQ-LIFEPO takes the following steps to charge your battery:

BULK­
The Bulk State charges the battery at an optimal controlled voltage level. This reduces the time it takes to charge the battery.
FLOAT­
Once the battery has been fully charged, the charger remains in the Float State, where it monitors the battery for a drop in voltage.
MAINTENANCE­
If the battery has been in Float mode for 15 days, the IQ will automatically reinitiate a bulk charge to ensure the battery remains completely charged.

Installation

Simply plug the IQ Smart Charge Controller into the Dual Voltage Jack* of your IOTA DLS Battery Charger.

The IQ Smart Charge circuitry and the IQ module will then activate automatically, allowing your DLS to charge your battery, trouble-free!

*Location of the Dual Voltage Jack may vary depending on the IOTA DLS model

Note: External IOTA IQ Smart Charge Controllers are not compatible with DLS chargers with internal IQ charge control.
