Social Responsibility
Social responsibility is an integral part of the TCED fabric
As highlighted by our
CEO Elise Rozon,
it's important to get involved in causes we
believe in. And it's for this very reason that
TCED decided to partner with two not-for-profit
organizations: the Leski Foundation and the
CNCB-Bolt Club.
At TCED, we often say that we're more than a
distributor. Ever since our company was founded
back in 1964, our objective has always been to
do more than just sell products; we want to
empower our customers, partners and community
and help them reach their full potential.

The CNCB-Bolt Club made me realize that
you can save children by donating, but
you can also save yourself by getting
involved.
Élise Rozon
CEO
CNCB-Bolt Club

The health and wellbeing of children has
always been of great importance for TCED.
That's why, in 2019, we partnered with the
Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont to
create a new cycling club: the CNCB-Bolt
Club.
The club's members can take part in one or
several of the 4 cycling disciplines
offered: mountain biking, road cycling, BMX
and para-cycling. The CNCB-Bolt Club is an
amazing opportunity for young cyclists,
allowing them to evolve safely, have fun and
learn new skills.

We're so grateful to be able to count on and
work with the TCED team to help organize
sporting activities for children. The team
is dedicated to doing their part for the
community, and helping promote strong
values, sharing and healthy living. By
supporting the CNCB-Bolt Club, we make
cycling sports accessible and help children
fulfill their dreams of learning new
disciplines thanks to the support of trained
coaches. The CNCB-Bolt Club is a big,
energetic family!

Leski Foundation

TCED entered into a second partnership with
the Leski Foundation in 2019. This
not-for-profit organisation's mission is to
support victims of criminal acts, and people
suffering with mental health illnesses and
autism.
To support this essential cause, TCED
sponsored an assistance dog, called Bolt.
Bolt lives with a member of the TCED team
and will be able to offer precious services
to the Foundation at the end of his training
program.

For the Leski Foundation, TCED team is more
than just a partner, they're a second
family. No matter what comes up, we can
always count on them. Thanks to their
generosity, hundreds of Quebecers have
access to support from our Leski dogs. Thank
you for believing in us. We're so pleased to
have you as a partner.

President of the Leski Foundation
We're proud of our partnership with Call2recycle Your Batteries Canada!

We are proud to announce our partnership
with Recycle Your Batteries Canada! At TCED,
we are fully committed to the safe and
proper recycling of household batteries.
Through our Batteries Expert retail stores,
we offer consumers convenient drop-off
points for their used batteries.
This commitment reflects our dedication to
environmental responsibility and our drive
to promote sustainable practices within our
community.

In 2024, we received the Sustainability Leader 2024 award from Call2Recycle in recognition of our commitment to battery recycling. A total of 12,574 kilograms of batteries were recycled to keep them out of the waste stream. We're very proud of this ecological initiative, and we're actively looking for other ways to reduce our impact on the environment.

Call2Recycle named TCED Sustainability Leader 2023 for its commitment to recycling small batteries. A total of 9 268 kilograms of used small batteries were recycled to prevent them from ending up in the waste stream. We're extremely proud of this green initiative and are actively seeking further ways to reduce our impact on the environment.
